Is there a required cost to the school?

No. Mandarin Kids is a parent-funded Mandarin learning program. The school approves the program, provides a classroom, and shares the registration link with families.

What does the school need to provide?

A classroom or suitable learning space, approval to offer the program, and a way to share the registration link or flyer with families.

Who handles registration and parent questions?

Mandarin Kids handles online registration, fee communication with families, parent questions, rosters, curriculum materials, and weekly class delivery.

When does a class run?

A class runs when minimum enrollment is reached. The default minimum is 8 students unless a school-specific session says otherwise.

Does my child need Mandarin experience?

No. Classes are kid-friendly and designed for heritage and non-heritage learners.

How do I register?

Find your school program and complete the parent and student form online. Mandarin Kids will follow up directly with confirmation and any fee details.

What happens if the class is full?

Full classes switch to a waitlist. Families can join the waitlist and Mandarin Kids will follow up if a spot opens.

What happens if minimum enrollment is not reached?

Families receive an update after registration closes. The published cancellation or refund policy will explain the next steps.

What do students do in class?

Students learn through songs, stories, games, movement, conversation, and cultural activities. The focus is confidence and joyful first exposure.

Are there performances?

Some sessions can include an optional parent showcase at the end. This depends on the school schedule and age group.

Is Mandarin Kids a charity?

Mandarin Kids uses community-based wording by default and does not claim charity or not-for-profit status unless legally registered and explicitly configured to do so.
